Rubber Safety Surfacing

Loose Fill Surfacing
Loose fill products are a cost effective alternative to Rubber Safety Surfacing. They include Soft Fall Sand and Pine Bark Soft Fall. These products are certified to comply with Australian Standards by our suppliers. With the choice of Loose Fill surfacing comes a maintenance schedule.
Soft Fall Sand needs to be replenished to the correct levels for critical fall height requirements when levels drop as it will be displaced outside of the play area by children. Soft Fall Sand will need to be raked as to make sure no debris is hidden underneath the sand that will harm any person. Sand will also need to be loosened up with such means as a rotary hoe to keep it soft and uncompacted.
Pine Bark Soft Fall needs to be replenished to the correct levels for critical fall height requirement as it is a organic material that will break down over time and will be displaced outside of the play area by children. Pine Bark Soft Fall will need to be raked as to make sure no debris is hidden underneath the pine bark that will harm any person.
